An Interactive VR Photography Exploration game telling the story of the the dead sea's decay

Ode to the Dead Sea

An Interactive VR Photography Exploration indie game with a goal to unveil the story of the environment of the dead sea area and how it suffers from the destruction made by man.

The goal of the game is to take the best possible photos possible of both Flora and fauna.

A gallery with all the pictures that were taken aims to reveal more details about its subjects.

The player’s journey starts in a joyful Judean Desert mountain landscape, populated by the lovely local animals. The player is a tourist who patrols the area and takes photos. He can interact with the animals, either for the pure joy of it, or to create the perfect backdrop for the photos.

As the tourist route continues and approaches the shore of the Dead Sea the tone of the game is getting grimmer; the shore is destroyed and populated with big black ravens. The sea dries up, wide sinkholes are widening and creating an overall unstable environment.

The Dead Sea is dying.
